Whether you have a big or small business enterprise that wants to grow, it has to change with the times. We are in the age of new technological advancement hence business owners who do not take steps to move with the current market trends will soon become obsolete. Therefore, it is important to adapt to these changes but also when undertaking these transformations, companies should not forget to move with its employees.

One mistake that business owners do is to leave behind their employees whenever their companies are re-engineering. When effecting change in business, deal with issues affecting all employees be it the senior or subordinate staff. Find out what problems are being faced by your people, be they serious or trivial to you.

Once your staff present to you with business ideas or complaints, handle with them precisely or at least communicate to them on how you intent to address their issues. Have a team to discuss on business ideas presented and if an idea is workable implement it. This will make your staff have a sense on ownership. In addition, it will cultivate a culture of innovation thus business growth.

Avoid concentrating so much on senior employees alone. From time to time call a meeting of the subordinate staffs and let them see how vital their services are to the growth of the business. Even when it comes to enumeration, pay you junior staff well and you will observe diligence in all business operation.

Your company should appear to be giving and not taking all the time. Therefore, from the directors to the cleaners and messengers make sure they feel like the company cares for their welfare.
